“Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies.” – Mother Theresa
I was born in Mount Vernon, Ohio. During the course of the first 10 years of my life I lived in 6 different states until my mother saw a picture of the Cascade Mountains and fell in love with them. We traveled almost 3,000 miles from New Jersey to Washington State where I was raised. It was during this time that the idea of working in healthcare began to interest me. I spent my teen years caring for an elderly woman who had a stroke. Even from this early age I enjoyed the work immensely. From the US Air Force as an Intelligence Analyst to my career in healthcare, I have learned that working with people brings me joy and my love of learning new things knows no bounds. I have worked in registration, scheduling and switchboard, prior authorization and the billing office. In between juggling a career and my family, I received an Associates Degree from Lane Community College. My extensive experience has helped prepare me for yet a new and exciting adventure at Oregon Surgical Wellness! I look forward to learning more and being an integral part of the lives of those I serve and serve with.
